We have worked to produce a series of podcasts addressing the question:

'What are YOU going to do after you finish your degree?'

We wanted to create an easily accessible place where people can find information on internships, resumes, the uni to work transition, work life and job applications. To get the advice we wanted, we chatted to some experts from all different fields including; Izzy Roberts-Orr, Tess Lawley, Tuan Anh, Danielle Pollock and Trang Nguyen, all of whom shared their wisdom and alleviated some of our anxiety. To communicate this advice in the best way possible we have created this website surrounding our podcasts with visuals and all the best tidbits from our professionals

Our primary target audience is current RMIT media and communications students. Given the breadth of our content, the podcasts will be relevant for all year levels and there will be something there for everyone. We also looked to target prospective media and communications students, people who are looking to get into the industry but aren't sure what they're getting themselves into.

The key takeaways we've gotten from this process was:

How many students are in the same boat as us, more than a bit stressed about the future with no clear idea as to where to get advice.

We will make it, although getting a career is daunting if you work hard you will succeed. There are lots of options and paths students can go through to make the career progression less scary, so really take some initiative and take a look.

On a smaller level, how beneficial it is to be able to work in a team, its amazing what you can accomplish and figuring out these skills early on in university will help so much for when you need to use them in industry.
